Holy Pally POV (4-heal): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txHmsHXg0vw
Healing considerations: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic ... 627?page=1

-CRYSTALS: Morchok (on the right) spawns 3 Resonating Crystals while his twin Kochrom (on the left) spawns 2 in each normal phase. 3 people are required to soak the Crystal explosion damage. Huge healing required, everyone needs to be topped up and ideally pre-hotted/pre-bubbled.

-STOMPS: 2 mechanics to the stomp - double damage stomp (2 closest players) and raid stomp (everyone needs to be within 25 yard range to soak). Tank 1 and I will soak the double damage on Morchok's side. Tank 2 and Jud w/Divine Protection up (or plate dps sub if we ever have one, last resort YJ with Raptor Strike Glyph) will soak Kochrom's. Aura Mastery on Devo Aura will help to mitigate some stomp damage too (stomp is physical dmg).
-Jud will need some bonus love on every other stomp as Divine Protection is on a 30 second CD. Having big Divine Aegis/Illuminated Healing stacks on him and a PW:S should be enough though as he's wearing plate.

-BLACK BLOOD PHASE: find your spot with LoS of the boss and continue to DPS, use Telluric Currents/regen/etc. May want to mark a healer on each side and have everyone follow them.

Quote:
Things to Watch Out For
Unlike in normal mode, it is crucial that the players handling Resonating Crystal always be within 25 yards of their boss. To ensure this, there are a few important, yet not very obvious things to watch out for:

Whenever one of the bosses casts Resonating Crystal, its tank should move it close to the crystal (but not on the crystal), so that designated players can stack on the crystal while still being within 25 yards of the boss.
If there is one or more melee DPS in the group of designated players, bringing the boss close enough will enable them to continue attacking it.
In the event that the boss is not quite close enough to the crystal to allow players to stack on the crystal while being in a 25 yard range of the boss, the crystal soakers will first have to remain in range of the boss for the next Stomp, and then quickly move to the crystal (they should have around 5 seconds to do this). - Jud you're gonna have to really watch this as you'll be taking the double damage stomp in front of boss as well as eating crystals
When handling Resonating Crystals, players who are assigned to this task should make sure to position themselves on the side of the crystal that is towards the boss (so, between the crystal and the boss), so that the knock-back will push them towards the boss.

G1: Syrannia/Chia/Whateley/Canagan/Rev
G2: Blood/YJ/Del/Jud/Sagenn
(each side gets a BR, major armor buff, 10% less physical dmg taken buff and mana return... woo)

No no, you'll have to actually do some dps, as I'll be healing and not carrying y'all with my great big staff. :D

Eh, if we are as awesome as I know we are we can 2 heal it:P

...unless we want Del to freak out when she gets Dark Intent instead of Sage.

FYI I went affliction and am pleased with it so far, so hopefully you'll be the only dps we bench this week YJ.

We actually could 2-heal - Holy Pallies and Resto Droods are most capable of solo healing a side (hopefully Canagan can make it?)... Obviously with Rev/Sage chipping in on off-heals especially <20%. I feel a bit dirty cheesing an encounter with 4-heals but the enrage is exceptionally forgiving!

Ok we definately need to 4 heal this fight till more get geared. There is a pretty big disparity in healing output on our best attempt segment which was probably due to Delion being undergeared as he's only started to cover for Ziv just 2 times, so that's understandable.

http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/s22v ... 966&e=6277

With Jud out this week probably, unless we drop Delion for the 1st encounter and pickup 2 very well geared healers I think attempts at this will be like flinging shit at a turbo fan blowing in yer face. I don't know if there are other heroic modes that require less of a healing gear check but open to thoughts on what we do this week with another core healer out.

I thought Jud was tentative? If so ask Canagan.

Probably doesn't matter since Blood is not coming.

In lieu of this I say plow through to Madness.

-ahemfirelandscheeveshem-

I wouldn't mind blowing through DS in a couple of hours and having some time left over.

Heh. Blowing.

But speaking of the H Morchok strat, yeah I look forward to trying this again once we have our full complement of regular healers available. Such is the bane of the non-attendance-requirement raid. I might go update our recruitment thread on the Feathermoon realm forum.

Nagrand's best attempt last night: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/dc0u ... 391&e=6723
we wiped at 500k hp due to mage T12 mirror image proc pulling faraway adds from 1/2 the zone away which came and ganked healers :(

We 3-healed (Holy Pally [1] and Disc Priest/Resto Sham [2]), I healed on the Morchok side with the Disc. The idea was our Disc stacked the shit out of Divine Aegis absorbs when people were topped off so we were free to not worry about moving when the dance required it, while I topped people off from the raw dmg taken by stomps/crystals post-absorb. We chained mana returns and throughput CDs so the Disc could facilitate that much PoH spam. We also split the two 5-mans into two different vent channels which helped with movement and healer focus.
