With mists just around the corner I will be looking to level up and jump straight into new content. I am looking forward to quite a few things and the new xpac looks like it will have months of fun to keep me entertained. At first I had planned to attempt a realm first priest 90 getting 25 dailies to turn in, Using Heirloom gear until 86, keybindings for quest givers and addons to stop all the quest text and screen cuts. Also having mapped out every second to hit 86 when I would be able to get the breadcrumb quest and be among the first in the next zone soloing my way to 90 without having to fight the mobs of people. Then after some thought I decided I would really like to smell the roses a bit and enjoy everything out there at a reasonable pace.

So I imagine now that I will hit 90 in the first 5-6 days vs the first 15 hours it's out. J├Ąger has officially been postponed until late October to give people a rest and allow them to catch up both with their characters and emotionally. My personal plan is to raid the first day possible. Right now that looks like October 2. LFR won't be open at this time but adventureous groups are welcome to join up and battle mogu'shan vaults. I will be putting a raid together for release date of this raid (Tuesday oct 2 unless changed) and then going again Friday October 5th either fresh or as a lockout. This is not a regular or mandatory raid in any way. I am just putting the offer out there for anyone who would like to join. Badgers will be offered first spots followed by friends then pugs. If you think you may be ready and interested feel free to drop a response now or anytime throughout the expansion. Cheers

I would also like to hear what others have planned and are looking forward too. Pet battles? New mounts? Chalange modes? If you have room or even need a hand in anything you are doing don't hesitate to post here. I and many others I am sure will be on daily and happy to share in the experience

I'm with you on that "smell the roses" thing. There's a place for competitive epeen, but my priority is to have fun playing a video game. That said I assume just playing the game constantly will get to me to 90 in no time. Thanks for the heirlooms tip.

My current intention is to avoid the crowds by skipping the first zone entirely, and just run dungeons until I reach whatever level the second zone starts, hopefully ahead of the wave. Though I hope that doesn't mean I miss any story beats which are important later on. =\

I'm trying not to think too hard about all the stuff there is to do. I get a strong impression that the breadth of content in this expansion is going to be much greater than any of the previous ones, and look forward to discovering it all at my own pace.

I will definitely be there on the 5th. :)

I'm moving the same week as the launch but I plan on reaching 90 within a week of the release date.

I'm doing the same thing w/ dailies Ziv, just like when Cata was released. :P

I'd be interested in the October 5th raid. Can an officer post this in guild news? Or better yet give me the privileges to do so.

I too am going to be taking a smell the roses approach - pretty much mandatory with wee drunken badger Isabelle taking up my time. I'm thinking it might be a bit tricky to raid as well since the raid goes for so long and I don't think anyone will be keen on me going afk for an hour mid raid to feed the barracuda :P

As I will be taking things at a relaxed pace I expect to be behind the crowd in tems of leveling which will be a nice change from previous xpacs :)
