Here are the raid rules for Jagger. They are similar to Whiskey rules with some appropriate edits. If you don't like something or feel something was omitted, reply with your comments.

---Rule 1: Raid Invites------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raid start time is 6pm sharp. We should be buffed and making the first pull at this time.

Raid group will start forming 5:30pm. Slots are reserved for confirmed signups during this time frame.

15 minutes prior to raid start time, if you are not in the raid group, then your raid slot is forfeit. Unless special arrangements have been made, we will attempt to replace you.

If you signed up as coming, show up late, and there's no room left for you, then you have committed a raid faux pas.

---Rule 2: Raid time slot----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raid runs from 6 to 11pm server.

On the majority of occasions, the raid will end by 11pm. On certain occasions, we may be close to significant progress or a logical raid breakpoint near 11pm server. If the raid leader believes we have a reasonable chance of achieving that breakpoint prior to 11:15pm server, then the raid will be prolonged to try. Under no circumstance will start combat predicted to end after 11:30pm.

If you have to leave a raid early, or know you'll be late, don't signup as coming. Sign up as possible. If we can't fill your spot before the raid, we'll still need you and you can come and get counted as attending. If you signup as coming, and then leave early, that will be considered a raid faux pas.

---Rule 3: Required Mods and Extragame Applications-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Required
Deadly Boss Mods
Ventrilo Client (this is a voice-chat app, don't need a mic)
Omen

Suggested
Recount
(Healers Only) Healbot or something that communicates with Healbot

---Rule 4: Pre-raid Preparation-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RSVP for each week's raid via Raid Ninja webtool found here: http://www.zoblefu.com/rn2a/index.php. Instructions on using Raid Ninja can be found here: http://www.zoblefu.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=758. Regulars need to RSVP even if you can't make the raid (sign up as "Not Coming" in Raid Ninja). If you haven't signed up by Tuesday evening, your spot may be given away to a replacement for the week.

Subs are strongly encouraged to RSVP for a raid through Raid Ninja if they can make that week. This will increase the likelihood of getting picked up for that week's raid as we know you are available. The Raid Leader will move you to "Confirmed" status in Raid Ninja by Wednesday evening if you are needed for the raid. Alternatively you are encouraged (but not required) to login before the raid to see if there is a last minute opening.

Read up on the fights beforehand. Wowwiki has good explanations of them: http://www.wowwiki.com/. We also may have raid-specific strategies posted on the Jagger Raid Forums.

Come to the raid prepared with reagents, pots, elixirs, bandages, repaired armor, fully enchanted/gemmed gear, etc. Specifically, for boss fights that are not on farm status, raiders are expected to use class appropriate foods, elixirs, oils, etc. Don't be a penny pincher!

Check the raid status forum 24 hours before the raid to confirm the raid is ON and whether or not we are in need of any subs for the week. Assume the raid is ON unless there is an obvious post to the contrary. We have a GO/NOGO ratio of greater than 90%.

Join the appropriate raid channels when you log in before the raid. Healing channel is "badgerheal". General channel for pre-raid invites is "DBRaids". Hunter channel is "badgerhunter".

Performance matters. However you do it, learn to play your class well. Some combination of theorycraft, trial-and-error, or asking experienced players is inevitable to be able to perform well.

---Rule 5: Conduct-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Avoid use of vulgar language; don't be a mooch; generally speaking, act mature.

Keep vent clear for combat communication during nontrivial fights.

During formal raid AFKS, return prior to the announced AFK end time. Be present and ready to buff when the AFK is finished.

---Rule 6: Loot-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Loot rules are as follows:
- Need for main set
- Greed for raid approved offset (refer to roster for designated offsets)
- Do NOT ever roll disenchant.
- If everyone passes the raid leader will pick up the loot and offer to anyone who wants it for not raid approved offsets. Otherwise, the raid leader will DE and put in the guild bank.
- Given this is a performance oriented 10-man, be mindful if gear will benefit another raider more than yourself (even if it is technically a need for you). Our goal is to maximize the performance of the raid as a whole, not of particular individuals. Loot council is too time consuming so we will not do that, but if something drops that is a slight upgrade for you and a large upgrade for a fellow regular, you are encouraged to pass the item to the other regular.

---Rule 7: Performance-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Player performance will be under a microscope. You may get asked to do a lot of things to improve. Sometimes, the people asking you to do things may even be wrong. It's up to you to continuously improve and meet certain minimum DPS, HPS, Situational Awareness, quick thinking, dextrous character control, and other performance bars in quick time or you are not really prepared to defeat raid content. Obviously, if you're not prepared for it, we can't bring you with and win ourselves, so we'll have to cut you loose from the raid.

It is likely that at some point or other, your gameplay will come under criticism and it will be up to you to defend your style of play. If you can't live comfortably under that microscope, then our raid isn't for you.

for the first raid we'll use in-game invites. we'll discuss at the first raid whether to use RN or in-game.
