The guild bank represents our collective contributions and provides a convenient way for members of the Drunken Badgers to share the benefits of their professions.

The price of items in the guild bank corresponds with the standard Auction House price for the finished product or the materials used. The contents of the guild bank are not, and have never been, free for the taking. Remember as you withdraw that you are honor-bound to pay the bank back a fair or better than fair price. If you aren't sure what a fair price is, simply ask or check the AH.

The Guild Bank provides a means for us to pay for these goods with any available means on any alt. Common examples include payment with gold (via deposit), materials (an uncut gem for a cut gem of the same color), barter (enchanting materials for ore), in advance (via donation), or via a small loan swiftly repaid (a post-raid re-gemming paid off with the next week's dailies). The general GB should generally be gaining value over time, which surplus the officers use to fund prizes for guild events such as Assassins. If you have an idea for a fun guild event, please suggest it in the General forums.

Initiates are not given access to view the guild bank to help prevent theft. Initiates are not given access to donate to the guild bank because we do not want money to have any influence over the decision to promote or dismiss an initiate after their initiation. All members have full access to the guild bank (except for the Raid Tab, which is managed by the officers). Participation and use of the guild bank is encouraged, following the organization of the bank.

The tabs are organized as follows:
Tab 1: General. This includes BOE drops, rep items, repair bots, and anything else that is actually useful.
Tab 2: Cut Rare Gems. This includes only cut rare gems, two columns to each meta, orange, red, purple, yellow, green, and blue. Gems in the same row of the same color should be the same gem (ex: Chaotic Skyflare Diamonds are side by side, left and right, in the meta gem columns). Uncut gems should be deposited in Tab 4 (Materials). We are limited in the types of gems we can stock, therefore we only want gems useful for pve content. The gems that are permitted in this tab are listed below in the Gem Appendix.
Tab 3: Item Enhancements. These are Eternal Belt Buckles. enchants on vellums, leg armor/spellthread, and any other item which can be used to improve your gear. These are organized by the slot they enhance, top to bottom: weapon, bracer, boots, gloves, shield, cloak, and chest. Legs and belt are on the left.
Tab 4: Materials. This tab contains any materials commonly used by professions to make things that require a skill of 375 and beyond. For example, we store Frostweave Cloth and Eternal Life, but not Bolts of Silk or Primal Life. Uncut gems and enchanting supplies are also considered "materials" (and should not go on Tab 2 or Tab 3), as long as they are high level.
Tab 5: Food. This tab contains cooked food that provides a buff requires level 70+ to eat. This tab also contains materials for this food, such as Northern Spices, and raw foods. Do not deposit food that grants no buff (ex: Salted Yeti Cheese) or food which can be purchased from a vendor (ex: Honeymint Tea).
Tab 6: Raid. The guild officers store and manage raid assets in this tab. This typically includes abyss crystals and BOE epics, sorted by which raid contributed them (Whiskey or Vodka). Items which may be critical for upcoming raiding content are also stored here, such as Epic Resistance armor.

Gem Appendix:
The following gems will be stocked in the guild bank. Due to constant demand and the availability of Jewelcrafters who can cut the gems, we may not have a full compliment of all of these gems at any given time. If your desired gem is out of stock, please check back later or consider filling in the gaps in the inventory as specified in this Appendix.

Please do not donate gems which are generally not used (ex: spell penetration, str/mp5). If you wish to donate these gems, please sell them on the AH and donate the proceeds to the treasury.

If you feel that the gems we stock in Tab 2: Cut Rare Gems should be altered in any way, please make your suggestions in the General forums.

It has been almost 2 years since Rha so kindly set this up for us. Content has changed, raids have changed, and we have a new bank tab. Yay!! I would like to throw some thoughts out there on tweaking the system slightly and am seeing what others think or any ideas they may have.

Tab 1 General (Level appropriate items that dont fit into another tab)
Tab 2 General 2 (Same as general tab)
Tab 3 Materials (great place for the guild to store materials for most professions be it metals herbs or chanting supplies)
Tab 4 Item Enhancement ( Get all your gems/scopes/chants here to make your gear the best it can be for badger runs)
Tab 5 Food (Great selection of +90 food plus some staks of raw meat for hunters as well as anyone trying to level the profession)
Tab 6 Consumables (alchemy at its finest plus a few odds and ends, stacks of needed potions elixers and flasks)
Tab 7 Raid (Anything that requires an officer to agree to before taking, epics, maelstroms, etc)

-Junk from each tab to be removed, sold, and the funds used to purchase needed items in those tabs
- I believe one "raid" tab is plenty assuming officers have good communication and respect for the tab, having 3 tabs of people hoarding murglesnouts is defeating the bank purpose and resources

Please let me know your thoughts and ideas

I agree with the single raid tab and we can coordinate use to a specified set of raid leaders/officers to ensure decent coverage for access. I think the general tabs need some work we always get a bit of junk. Maybe label one LVL85 BOE Gear and one Trade Items/materials. We can take the materials slot and rename it to something like EPIC gear/items which only the GM or a few officers can withdraw from and that is where we point people to look for purchasing anything, basically all raid drops or shards that we want the general guild to have dibs on to buy would be in this slot . That would leave the raid slot for cauldrons and feasts which are high mat cost items mainly for supporting raiding. We should discuss online with other officers.
